Believing in the importance of international collaboration to achieve academic excellence at our university, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations works diligently to strengthen cultural and academic ties with international universities and organizations to foster engagement with the global academic community.
Our department is responsible for enhancing and developing international relations, academic scholarships, and cultural exchange to elevate the academic and research quality of the university on a global level. This has been achieved through the signing of numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and cooperation agreements with various international universities. Additionally, the department has played a pivotal role in advancing the academic qualifications of our university staff by sending many of them abroad for studies and scientific research. Furthermore, the department has provided educational opportunities for numerous Arab and foreign students across various disciplines, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, through the “Study in Iraq” initiative.
We look forward to expanding global partnerships and implementing international projects with European Union countries, in alignment with our university’s aspirations and future vision. Through its divisions and units, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations actively seeks to elevate the university’s global standing, attract students and researchers from around the world, and enhance cultural and scientific exchange with the international community, serving the esteemed University of Karbala and our beloved Iraq.
