Dr. Hawraa Jabbar Rahi, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Karbala, participated in a ceremony honoring outstanding female employees in government institutions. The event was organized by the Women’s Affairs Division of the local administration and took place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Local Administration Hall in Karbala. The ceremony was held under the slogan: “Every achiever deserves recognition, and every effort merits appreciation,” under the patronage and in the presence of the Governor of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jasim Al-Khattabi. This event coincided with the blessed birth anniversaries of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the noble Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
During his speech at the ceremony, the Governor of Karbala praised the vital role of Iraqi women, emphasizing their significant contributions in supporting men and their remarkable achievements in the workplace.
