The program brought together representatives from several Iraqi universities and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The university was represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawraa Jabbar Rahi Al-Kuraity, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, along with several directors of similar departments from other Iraqi universities.
The training covered key themes related to enhancing the academic reputation of higher education institutions, addressing the challenges of internationalization, and improving educational outcomes in line with global labor market needs and modern trends in higher education.
Participants emphasized the importance of adopting clear strategies to advance academic internationalization and expand research and scientific cooperation with international universities, thereby contributing to improving the global standing of Iraqi universities.
The participation of the University of Karbala in this program reflects its institutional strategy to support internationalization, strengthen its regional and global presence, and promote the principles of high-quality and sustainable higher education.
