The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Karbala organized a training workshop titled “Why English is So Important?” for its staff. The workshop aimed to enhance the linguistic and cultural skills of the department’s employees and to improve effective communication with international partners.
The session covered various key topics, including the importance of the English language in international relations, strategies for improving language skills, challenges in learning English, and more.
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawraa Jabbar Rahi Al-Kuraity, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, who provided valuable insights into the role of English in strengthening cultural and academic relations.
This workshop falls within the department’s ongoing efforts to build staff capacity, improve communication with international institutions, and raise the quality of services offered in the field of scholarships and cultural relations.
